Cert III qualified in Painting and Decorating, he is the kind of hand who takes pride in getting it right the first time.

Born on 26 December, Daniel shares his birthday with Jared Leto, a man who balances a flat out career with a genuine love of the outdoors and adventure. Daniel is cut from the same cloth: easygoing, always good for a yarn, and happiest once the workday is done. Bryce brings seven years of trade-qualified painting experience to the team, with work spanning Brisbane, the Gold Coast and across New South Wales. He started his apprenticeship in 2019, worked for a small business on new housing estates, moved across to commercial high-rise work, and now puts his hand to high-end new homes with the We Paint Gold Coast crew. As Leading Hand Painter, his specialty is spray work on gloss framework and the patient art of staining timbers, with prep work where he takes the most pride.

Bryce stands by the team motto, “We paint because you don’t,” a line that captures the no-shortcuts mindset he brings to every job. Born on 12 June, he shares his birthday with George H.W. Bush, a man who would happily ditch any obligation for a rod, a boat and a quiet stretch of water. Bryce is cut from the same cloth: when the brushes are down, you will find him fishing on land or out on his boat, or kicking back with his girlfriend and family.

Rafael brings six years in the trade to We Paint Gold Coast, having worked his way up from apprentice to supervisor and now running jobs from start to finish. A licensed painter, he has experience across every corner of the painting business, and working on new builds is well and truly his cup of tea. On the tools or steering a site, he brings the same steady, do-it-properly approach to every job.

Rafael lives by the saying “The present time has no advantage over every other: it is our own,” a reminder to make the most of life now rather than dwelling on the past or the future. Born on 26 July, he shares his birthday with Mick Jagger, a frontman known for leading from the front and wringing every last drop out of life, the same zest Rafael brings to running a site and living well. Off the tools, he is happiest out in nature: down the beach, chasing waterfalls, out on a hike, camping, or firing up the BBQ.

G’day, meet Sammy. Seventeen years in the trade and still going strong, this fella has well and truly earned his stripes. He cut his teeth doing two years of hard yakka with Dynacoat, criss-crossing Australia knocking over commercial jobs, before pulling up with the We Paint Gold Coast crew coming up nine years ago and grafting his way up to Supervisor. Spraying, roof restoration, new builds, repaints, texturing: you name it, and if it’s got anything to do with painting, Sammy’s your man. On the tools or running the show, he gets the job done properly and doesn’t muck about.

His motto is fair dinkum gold: “you can’t paint without paint.” Simple, cheeky, and true as they come. Born on 5 December, Sammy shares his birthday with Walt Disney, a bloke who started with one little sketch and built the whole lot from the ground up, much like Sammy going from a set of apprentice hands to running the crew. And when the brushes are down? You’ll catch him smacking a few balls round the golf course, putting in the hard yards at the gym, chasing a wave down the beach, or cracking a cold one. Dannikah is the engine room of We Paint Gold Coast. As Operations Manager she oversees the daily run sheet, project coordination, client relations and team management, keeping residential and commercial projects flowing smoothly across South East Queensland. Known for her strong organisational skills, sharp attention to detail and a customer-focused approach, she holds every job to the team’s highest standard, from first quote through to final walk-through.

Her favourite saying, “You can’t climb the ladder of success with your hands in your pockets,” sums up the always-doing, always-moving energy she brings to every project. Born on 4 June, Dannikah shares her birthday with Angelina Jolie, a woman known for juggling motherhood, family and a high-output career with equal dedication, qualities Dannikah lives daily. When not at her desk, Dannikah is happiest outdoors with her kids and family, or shopping up a storm at Pac Fair.
