Diamond grinding, not acid etching

A lasting floor is made before any epoxy goes down. We mechanically grind the slab with Husqvarna diamond grinders, opening up the concrete so the coating keys in properly. It is the single biggest reason a floor resists hot-tyre pickup and peeling, and it is the step the cheap jobs skip.

Crack and joint repair first

Anti-slip, line marking and a dust-free install

An anti-slip additive can be worked into the finish for wet areas, ramps and wash bays, and we lay line marking and safety markings for warehouses, carparks and workshops. Our grinders run HEPA dust extraction, so the install stays clean and low-mess from start to finish.

What is a 5 coat epoxy flake floor?

It is a built-up floor system, not a single coat. We lay a bonding base, broadcast decorative flake in your chosen colour, then seal it with hard-wearing topcoats. The result is a thick, durable, easy-clean surface that resists hot tyres, oil and heavy traffic while still looking sharp.

Why do you diamond grind instead of acid etching?

Diamond grinding mechanically opens up the concrete so the epoxy keys in and bonds hard. Acid etching is the shortcut that often leads to hot-tyre pickup and peeling down the track. Proper grinding is the single biggest reason a floor lasts, so we never skip it.

Will an epoxy floor handle hot tyres and heavy traffic?

How do I clean and maintain my epoxy floor?

It is refreshingly low maintenance. Sweep or dust mop regularly to lift grit, and damp mop with warm water and a mild, pH-neutral cleaner when it needs it. Avoid harsh or abrasive chemicals, and wipe up oil or chemical spills when you spot them. That is about all a flake floor asks for.
