Preparation done properly, every time

Preparation is where a lasting finish is won or lost. We will not paint over mud wasps, bird droppings, contamination or a failing previous job. Surfaces are washed, sanded back where needed, filled and primed before any top coat, using dust-free sanding with vacuum extraction, so common-area finishes hold up in coastal Queensland conditions.

Premium coatings matched to the coast

We specify premium systems from Wattyl, Dulux and Resene, matched to each surface and its exposure. For exteriors facing salt air, humidity and UV, we use proven systems such as Dulux Weathershield and Wattyl Solagard, which carry a 20 year manufacturer product warranty when applied correctly, separate to the workmanship warranty we put on our own labour.

Are you QBCC licensed and insured for strata work?

Yes. We Paint Gold Coast is fully QBCC licensed and NSW Fair Trading licensed, and carries $20M public liability insurance, and our painters hold white card and blue card certification. That gives committees and strata managers confidence engaging us on multi-unit and common-area work. Our QBCC licence number is 15040055, and our NSW Fair Trading contractor licence number is 169899C.

Do you use subcontractors on body corporate jobs?

No. Every job is completed by our own qualified, employed painters and never subcontracted out. An in-house crew means consistent quality across the whole complex, clear accountability and the same leading hands on site from start to finish, even on larger or staged projects.

Can you safely access multi-storey buildings?

Yes. We reach upper levels with licensed cherry pickers and scissor lifts, operated by certified team members and fully insured for multi-unit sites. The only exception is high-rise rope access, which we do not offer, so standard multi-storey complexes are well within our scope.
