Reliable, in-house commercial painting for warehouses, factories, offices, retail and hospitality fit-outs, delivered on time and around your trades.
Meet the local, family run team behind the brush, how we work, and why our clients keep calling us back.
We Paint Gold Coast is a family run, owner-led painting company based in Burleigh Heads, painting homes and businesses right across the Gold Coast since 2018. We are a full crew of qualified, in-house painters led by director Trent Delaney, and we care just as much about how it feels to work with us as we do about the finish we leave behind.
From homeowners choosing a painter they can trust to strata managers, builders and commercial clients vetting a partner, We Paint Gold Coast is the team Gold Coast property owners rely on for honest advice and a finish that lasts.

• Commercial & Industrial
• Builders & Developers
Every brushstroke here traces back to one bloke who fell in love with the trade early. Trent Delaney picked up his first paintbrush professionally at 19, and more than 24 years later he is still just as hooked. Painting runs in the family, so for Trent it was never just a job, it was the family trade done properly.
Before the Gold Coast, Trent spent a decade running his own busy painting company in Wagga Wagga with a team of eight. In 2017 he made the move north, chasing the lifestyle, the weather and the lure of the coast. A year later, in 2018, We Paint Gold Coast was born in Burleigh Heads.
Then came the part Trent is proudest of. Coming out of COVID, he brought in a business coach, backed himself, and grew the business four times over in just two years, welcoming another five to six painters into the crew. What started as one painter with a ladder is now a full in-house team painting some of the best homes and biggest commercial jobs on the coast.
And through all of it, one thing has not changed. Trent still quotes every job himself, so you meet the owner of the business face to face before you commit to having your place painted.
Here is something we are quietly proud of. When our clients leave a review, they almost always talk about the team and the experience before they mention the paint. That tells us we are getting the important part right.
We lead with the things that make a job stress-free: clear communication, tidy work, respect for your home or site, and the patience to help you land on a colour you will love for years. If something ever crops up on a job, you will hear from us straight away. No surprises, no hidden costs, and no chasing us for an answer.
We are also unapologetically prep-led. We will not paint over mud wasps, bird droppings or contamination just to get a job out the door. Preparation is where a paint job is won or lost, and it is the standard we hold on every project, whether anyone is watching or not.
Our team is our biggest asset, and we celebrate them rather than hide them behind a logo. Everyone who turns up to your job is a qualified, in-house painter, with the same leading hands on site from start to finish. No subbies, no rotating faces, no guesswork.
Trent is the heart and the hands of the business. Qualified at 19 and now sitting on more than 24 years in the trade, he brings family painting heritage, a decade of running his own company down in Wagga, and a genuine love of teaching the team his tricks. He quotes every job personally, so the person planning your project is the same person who sets the standard.
Dannikah is the engine room of We Paint Gold Coast. As Operations Manager she oversees the daily run sheet, project coordination, client relations and team management, keeping residential and commercial projects flowing smoothly across South East Queensland. Known for her strong organisational skills, sharp attention to detail and a customer-focused approach, she holds every job to the team’s highest standard, from first quote through to final walk-through.
G’day, meet Sammy. Seventeen years in the trade and still going strong, this fella has well and truly earned his stripes. He cut his teeth doing two years of hard yakka with Dynacoat, criss-crossing Australia knocking over commercial jobs, before pulling up with the We Paint Gold Coast crew coming up nine years ago and grafting his way up to Supervisor. Spraying, roof restoration, new builds, repaints, texturing: you name it, and if it’s got anything to do with painting, Sammy’s your man. On the tools or running the show, he gets the job done properly and doesn’t muck about.
Rafael brings six years in the trade to We Paint Gold Coast, having worked his way up from apprentice to supervisor and now running jobs from start to finish. A licensed painter, he has experience across every corner of the painting business, and working on new builds is well and truly his cup of tea. On the tools or steering a site, he brings the same steady, do-it-properly approach to every job.
Bryce brings seven years of trade-qualified painting experience to the team, with work spanning Brisbane, the Gold Coast and across New South Wales. He started his apprenticeship in 2019, worked for a small business on new housing estates, moved across to commercial high-rise work, and now puts his hand to high-end new homes with the We Paint Gold Coast crew. As Leading Hand Painter, his specialty is spray work on gloss framework and the patient art of staining timbers, with prep work where he takes the most pride.
Cyana is one of the proud women in the trade, and the kind of painter you want on the precision work. She picked up a brush five years ago after her boyfriend (a painter himself) nudged her toward the trade, and she has not looked back. She finished her Cert III in Painting and Decorating in 2024 and was a finalist for Apprentice of the Year in both 2022 and 2024, no small feat.
Painting on the Gold Coast is its own challenge, and we have spent years learning it. Salt air, high humidity, harsh UV and storm season all punish the wrong paint system, so we know which products last on the coast and which ones fail, and we prep, apply and finish accordingly.
Working out of our Burleigh Heads HQ, we paint homes and buildings right across the coast, from Tugun and Currumbin up through Palm Beach, Burleigh, Miami and Mermaid, out to Hope Island and beyond. If we could paint Burleigh and only Burleigh forever, we just might. This is home, and it shows in the care we take.

His motto is fair dinkum gold: “you can’t paint without paint.” Simple, cheeky, and true as they come. Born on 5 December, Sammy shares his birthday with Walt Disney, a bloke who started with one little sketch and built the whole lot from the ground up, much like Sammy going from a set of apprentice hands to running the crew. And when the brushes are down? You’ll catch him smacking a few balls round the golf course, putting in the hard yards at the gym, chasing a wave down the beach, or cracking a cold one. Good onya, Sammy.

Born on 26 July, he shares his birthday with Mick Jagger, a frontman known for leading from the front and wringing every last drop out of life, the same zest Rafael brings to running a site and living well. Off the tools, he is happiest out in nature: down the beach, chasing waterfalls, out on a hike, camping, or firing up the BBQ.

Bryce stands by the team motto, “We paint because you don’t,” a line that captures the no-shortcuts mindset he brings to every job. Born on 12 June, he shares his birthday with George H.W. Bush, a man who would happily ditch any obligation for a rod, a boat and a quiet stretch of water. Bryce is cut from the same cloth: when the brushes are down, you will find him fishing on land or out on his boat, or kicking back with his girlfriend and family.
Daniel is now in his sixth year on the tools and has built his name on high-end residential new builds right across the Gold Coast and Northern Rivers. As a Painter with the We Paint Gold Coast crew, he is trained up on the spray gun and brings the clean, considered finish that brand new homes call for. Cert III qualified in Painting and Decorating, he is the kind of hand who takes pride in getting it right the first time.
Born on 26 December, Daniel shares his birthday with Jared Leto, a man who balances a flat out career with a genuine love of the outdoors and adventure. Daniel is cut from the same cloth: easygoing, always good for a yarn, and happiest once the workday is done. When the rollers are down, you will find him with his family, out in the surf, or kicking back with a cold one at the pub.

On site, she is known for her careful, patient hand: clean cutting in along colour changes, and the meticulous prep and gloss work on trims, frames and doors.
Born on 19 April, Cyana shares her birthday with Kate Hudson, and the two would get along famously: a love of good food, a strong creative streak, and a zest for life all round. Off the tools, you will find Cyana painting artistically in her own time, dabbling in arts and craft, or hunting down a good feed.
